angela thomas
Managing Director / Owner
Angela has a background of finance and accounting with over 30 years’ experience between commercial business and management advisory. Angela was a Private Enterprise Director at KPMG, but has now taken the opportunity to put those skills into practice at NIF.
Angela’s passion is helping businesses to prosper. She is working together with the great team at North Island Forklifts to enhance the growth and development of the business, its people, and its ability to provide effective solutions for its valued customers.
mark tingey
Director / Owner
Mark’s background is commercial law with over 35 years experience. Prior to retiring from law recently, Mark was the senior commercial law partner with Holland Beckett Law and the commercial legal adviser to the Port of Tauranga and Coda Group. He has extensive knowledge of commercial contracts, supply chain logistics and materials handling. Mark is a past chair of Waipuna Hospice, past president of the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce and is current chair of Birchwood Packhouse Limited.
Mark has chosen to pursue his own business interests lending his extensive business experience and commercial nous to support Angela and the team at NIF.
Mark’s passion is develop NIF into a great business for the betterment of its staff, its customers and its stakeholders.
KEVIN YORWARTH
General Manager
Kevin’s background is equipment maintenance support and logistics with 40 years’ experience. Prior to joining the NIF team, Kevin was with the New Zealand Army for 38 years and several years with Fulton Hogan.
Kevin’s knowledge extends from workshop management through to integrated logistics and through life asset management. Kevin’s military background has provided him with a sound diverse skill set which will further enhance the capabilities of the NIF team.

Operations Manager
Glenn has more than 30 years experience in the forklift industry, from Western Australia to his own business here in NZ, including Clarklift. Glenn is a guru in all senses of the word when it comes to forklifts and heavy machinery repairs. Suffice it to say he has a vast range of knowledge from small through to large machines, and matching the right gear and solution to the operational requirements of the customer.

Taylor’s background comes from various roles in the automotive industry.
